The Zone (6th - 8th Grades)

The Zone is the junior high ministry of Peace Baptist Church serving students 6th - 8th grades and serves as a safe place for our students and their friends to share, love, and grow. 
 

Our vision is to inspire, liberate, and empower students to move from living apart from Christ to serving Christ with all their hearts and souls and to share Him with all in whom they encounter.

The Zone is a place for students to believe in themselves and the power of God and His Spirit; to belong to something positive and inspirational; and to become a Spirit-filled beacon in a dark dismal world. It is our desire to expose students to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and to help them experience the unconditional love of God and all He has for them.

Each Sunday morning we have engaging Sunday Impact/School for Teens and a dynamic Spirit filled worship service. On Wednesday nights we engage in life-changing Bible study and small groups.

Our students take a very active role in leading our services including praise and worship; Ministry-in-Motion; ushering/greeting; and prayer. The Zone is overseen by Jeffrey Wallace, pastor of youth development, and led by Brother Yaton Bowens and his support team who is dedicated and committed to seeing our young people live a life that is pleasing to Christ.

SIGN IN/SIGN OUT PROCEDURES

The Zone students are currently having a combined service with the high school students. They do not have to sign in/sign out.
